Music

I am so thankful for the gift of music. It has always been a primary escapism in my life. Throughout my childhood, I could always find a transcendent solace in music. And still do.

I have always loved sound, whether it be in nature or song. I love lush harmonies and rich, smooth vocals. I love strings and keys. I love the sound of the ocean meeting the shore while seagulls fly overhead. The sound of rain. It’s therapeutic.

I love the nostalgia I get when listening to certain songs. There are songs for every moment and emotion. Music truly is the soundtrack of life.

Shakespeare said if music be the food of life, play on. Music evokes happiness, hope, unity, and change. Do you ever notice how people from all over the world would know a song word for word and it not be in their native tongue? Music is the universal language that transcends social and cultural barriers and connects people oceans apart. Music resonates with the very essence of humanity; the soul.

Music is so very vital. Thank you for music. I honestly do not know where I would be without it.

It all comes back to YOU. It all comes down to LOVE.

—J. Jackson

The greatest love of all is happening to me. :)

Growing Pains

Every new day brings about consciousness expansion. I become evermore aware of my purpose and how to manifest it. This newfound consciousness allows me to realize my true self, and I am eternally grateful. This process I am going through can be somewhat overwhelming at times. Sometimes my head hurts and body aches, as adjusting and acclimating to anything new and different can sometimes be challenging; however, I would not have it any other way :)
